Bindhyabasini Temple is one of the oldest and most sacred Hindu temples in Pokhara, Nepal. Dedicated to Goddess Durga (a manifestation of Kali), it sits atop a 3,000- foot hill, offering panoramic views of the Annapurna range and Pokhara city.Built in the 18th century (around the 1760s), the deity was famously brought from the Vindhyachal mountains in India by King Siddhi Narayan Shah.
